Encourage and promote peace and human rights in the Central Highlands of Vietnam

THAILAND | USA | VIETNAM

MSFJ is a non-profit organization established in Thailand in 2019 and registered in the United States in April 2023. The main goal of the organization is to promote peace and protect the human rights of those who are oppressed in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, with a particular focus on religious freedom.

The organization was founded by Y Phic Hdok, Y Pher Hdrue, Y Quynh Bdap, and 15 other supporters who share the same vision. Currently, over 100 people are involved and working in Vietnam, Thailand, and the United States.

One of MSFJ’s main objectives is to encourage individuals to register and receive training to have a better understanding of Vietnam’s laws, regulations, and international laws that Vietnam has committed to. The organization believes that this will equip individuals with knowledge to protect their rights and ensure that the government complies with its legal obligations.

As a publicly operating organization, MSFJ commits to complying with the law and does not support any form of violence or government overthrow. The organization operates on a legal basis and complies with all relevant regulations. MSFJ also collaborates with international non-profit organizations as well as the US government to achieve the common goal of promoting human rights. This includes working with organizations such as Human Rights Watch, BPSOS, ADF International, Human Rights Defender, USCIRF, the US embassy, and many others.

MSFJ does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or political views and welcomes any organization willing to collaborate with MSFJ. The organization believes that support from everyone is necessary for the development and maturity of MSFJ into a large-scale organization with international recognition. Supporters can provide assistance in many forms, including financial contributions, legal support, advocacy, and promoting policies that protect the rights of indigenous peoples, especially the Montagnards in the Central Highlands.

The mission of MSFJ is very important in an area where the human rights of indigenous peoples, especially the Montagnards, have been overlooked for a long time. Through our advocacy work, MSFJ hopes to create a brighter future for these communities and ensure that their human rights are respected and protected.
